AAIJ Participates in Toyota's Skill Contest (MASIF) 2023

PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia took part in the 5th Manufacturing Skill Interchange Festival (MASIF) 2023, a prestigious skill contest organized by Toyota for its supplier. The competition was held simultaneously in 8 shops in 6 companies hosting. 

This year, AAIJ participated as host for the inspection shop and the maintenance shop and sent associates to compete all shops, namely Inspection, Welding, Painting, Logistic, Assembly, Maintenance, Machining and Press shop. 

In preparation to the skill contest, competition referees and participants were provided with training. The MASIF series started with referee training between July 13 and 14, participant training on July 18 and from July 20 to 22, and participant practice from July 24 until August 4. The skill contest was held on August 8 to 10. 

AAIJ took 5 medals in the competition: the runner up Inspection Shop Team Leader category, 3rd place Press Shop Team Leader category, 3rd place Painting Shop Team Leader category, runner up Press Shop Team Member category, runner up Inspection Shop Team Member Category. 

Winning these titles put AAIJ in the top 10 oh this highly reputable MASIF event. AAIJ Management hopes that these achievement can be an inspiration for associates in the future, too.
